Does anyone else get jealous when you see pictures of laundry rooms that are the size of my main floor?  Wouldn’t it be lovely? These mega-rooms, fit for the Queen of the Wash, remind me of going to Disney’s Fantasyland; it’s fun, it’s beautiful but you know it’s not real!  At least not in my world.

MOTHER NATURE, don’t you just love her?!……… I invite her into my home as often as I can to enjoy her artistic elegance.

Greenhouse Getaway

I love to garden and always wanted my own greenhouse.  Never happened. Maybe because I didn’t just want a greenhouse, I wanted a greenhouse getaway.  A place to escape to and enjoy tropical ferns, the fragrance of clean soil, cute pots and little seedlings popping their way to the surface long before Spring.  White benches to sit on with cute Georgia plantation cushions.  And a cat.  I picture a cat, a large cat, curled underneath a potting bench amongst flats of Impatiens.  Yes!

Don’t you think backsplashes are fabulous? How I wish the rest of the house was as easy to clean as the backsplash in the kitchen!
