It’s not a look everyone would love, and I really think it can be overdone. But adding pieces or areas to your home with the look of the weathered European countryside or an alleyway on Crete can look really cool.
Let’s look at some distressed walls, for example. There are a myriad of ways and faux techniques to get this chic appearance. And it can be done on wood, drywall, even brick, which I LOVE and plan to do a brick wall in my bedroom as soon as I (he…we…. :)) can.
