Isn’t it sad when Christmas is over and everyone takes their Christmas lights down? The neighborhood looks so depressed.
I was backing out of my driveway this morning in the dark (YAY! For Daylight Saving time…sarcasm intended) and our garage sconces were on. They looked so pretty. They sparkled and cast the prettiest shadows on the house. I wondered why they looked so particularly pretty this morning. I mentioned this to my husband when he got in the car and he said, “I cleaned them!” What a novel thought! He said they were really dirty when he took them down to put the Christmas lights up so he cleaned them really well. What a sweetie! And, my goodness! What a difference!
